History
The company was founded 40 years back under the efficient guidance of the Late Shri Purushottam Das Ladsaria under the name Sarat Bleaching Pvt. Ltd in Calcutta, India. For the next couple of decades, the company was primarily involved into the business of fabric dyeing with Sarat Processing Pvt. Ltd. and flourished into apparel exports to the U.S. market under the name of Sarat Exports Pvt. Ltd. presently, the Sarat Group has ventured into the realms of real estate sector. Son of Late Shri Purushottam Das Ladsaria and present chairman of the group, Mr. Sharad Agarwal, M. Tech from U.K., with his son Mr. Uday Agarwal (Textile Engineering Honors and Masters in Business Administration from the US) are presently heading the managerial activities.
